GENERAL POLICIES

>Please note, all orders placed through Etsy will be charged a 3% custom order processing fee.

PRINTED INVITATIONS

SHOP HOURS

•KMP Calligraphy is open and available Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm EST.   We are not open on weekends or holidays. 

ORDERING

•All invitation orders are custom and a minimum quantity of 50 or $250 is required, whichever is more.  Orders less than these amount will require a set up fee that is equal to the difference. 

•The $50 non-refundable deposit reserves your space in our design calendar.  Half of the order total is required before items go to print.  The other half is required before items are shipped to you or your guests. 

• All Ohio orders will acquire a 7.5% sales tax. 

•All quotes, estimates, and pricing are listed in USD.

•Signed contract, questionnaire, and deposit are all required before any custom design work will begin and before any proofs will be sent to you.  Once these have been received, you will be emailed your first proof within 5 business days.  Rush production is available.  Please message me for additional information regarding rush orders. 

QUOTATION

•Quotes are valid for 30 days.  All quotes, estimates, and pricing are listed in USD.

•If any changes are made to your order (quantity, adding something, etc.) this will change your quoted price. 

TIMELINE

•Invitation and save the dates orders take an average of 6-8 weeks plus shipping.  This includes proof, printing, and assembly (if necessary).  Any orders needed in less than 6 weeks require a rush fee, minimum of $50.  This will be provided for you once more details are received and can be dependent upon other jobs we currently are working on, invitation style, etc. 

•Personal stationery orders take an average of 2-3 weeks plus shipping. Any orders needed in less than 2 weeks require a rush fee. This will be provided once more details are received and can be dependent upon other jobs we are currently working on.

PROOFS

•Orders must be paid in full and print proof approval must be received 10 business days prior to when you need your paper goods.  Late payment and/or print proof approval may result in a delay of you receiving your paper goods by the requested deadline. 

•Proofs will be uploaded to your client portal and it is your responsibility to approve within 3 business days and return to us with any feedback.  Delay in returning the proofs to KMP may result in delay of receiving your paper goods by the requested deadline. 

All quotes, estimates, and pricing are listed in USD.

•Custom samples/proofs will not be provided.  Unlimited digital proofs are provided.  We recommend ordering a pre-printed sample and/or color swatch if you want to have a better idea of what the design will look like in-person. 

•Please allow up to three (3) business days to receive you proof updates.

PRINTING

•Once you have approved your final print proof, we begin the printing process.  Once you have approved your final print proof, KMP is not responsible for any errors including but not limited to: spelling, spacing, punctuation, capitalization.  Please review your prints thoroughly and have others review as well.  No changes can be made once final print proof has been received. 

•Ordering a pre-designed sample and/or color swatches from us before placing your final order is highly recommended.  Colors can appear differently on each computer screen and seeing a paper sample will ensure you are receiving the color you want. 

•If you are ordering a dark colored envelope, upgrading to white ink printing is required as dark colored ink is difficult to read on dark envelopes. 

•Guest address printing will be printed exactly as they appear in your guest addressing template.  KMP will send you the template upon booking. 

•We recommend ordering 10 extra sets of invitations.  Reprints will require a minimum of 10 plus shipping.  Rush fees may apply. 

ASSEMBLY

Envelope liners are not assembled in the envelope, unless you upgrade to have KMP assemble your full invitation suite for you.  Samples will have liner assembled in the envelope. 

Invitations do not come fully assembled unless you request an assembly upgrade. Please message me if you’d like more information on this upgrade.

SHIPPING

•Shipping is the clients responsibility. Please ask for a quote. Shipping prices are generally about $15-$25 (invitations) and $10-$20 (personal stationery) for US shipping. Orders are shipped via USPS. KMP will provide tracking information once goods have shipped. 

•KMP takes great care in packaging your invitations but please note that once the order has been handed off to USPS, it is out of our control what happens during transit. 

•Please check your order within 3 days of receiving.  While custom orders are non-returnable/non-refundable, we would like to be notified if you believe there are any errors with your order.  Please understand that mistakes can happen and we will work with you to correct any errors that may have occurred.  Please notify us within 3 business days if you believe there is an error with your order. 

•Samples are shipped via USPS and do not include tracking. 

•KMP Calligraphy is released of responsibility regarding shipping and delivery once invitations have been shipped, including but not limited to damage or delay. Please refer to our Shipping and Return policies for more information regarding shipping and returns.

ETSY ORDERS (only applicable for deposits placed on Etsy)

•All Payments will be processed through Etsy.

•All orders will have a 3% custom order fee

•Etsy will automatically collect and remit sales tax for some states. REFUNDS/CANCELLATIONS

•Rush order fees are nonrefundable. This is due to the additional time and effort spent on meeting the early delivery request. Our team works diligently to deliver your order on the date requested, which is why we do not offer refunds on rush fees. Even in the event that proof approval, payments, or other delays on the client's end are not received in accordance with the rush timeline causing a later delivery date, the rush fee associated with that order will still not be refunded.

•Deposits are nonrefundable.  As soon as a deposit is received, we begin working on the design of your project. Once final print proof has been approved, refunds will not be issued. 

•Due to the customization of orders, we do not offer refunds or exchanges once items have been printed and/or shipped.

•If you cancel your order, you do not have the rights to use or print any design or file received by KMP Calligraphy without purchasing the rights to do so.

CONTENT RELEASE

•All proofs and design elements are the intellectual property of KMP Calligraphy. Proposals, quotes, and proofs may not be shared, copied, or imitated with or by any person. Exceptions are made only for parties directly involved with CLIENT's wedding, i.e. wedding planner, parents, significant other.

•KMP Calligraphy owns all copyrights in any and all work(s) created or produced pursuant to federal copyright law (Title 17, Chapter 2, Section 201-02 of the United States Code), whether registered or unregistered. Any and all products, whether tangible or intangible, produced or created in connection with, or in the process of fulfilling this Agreement, are expressly and solely owned by KMP and may be used in the reasonable course of Vendor’s business. CLIENT acknowledges that VENDOR has the right to also use images, design elements, calligraphy, etc. from any portion of the work for portfolio or marketing purposes. CLIENT may request that KMP delay posting photos or imagery publicly until after the event date. 

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES 

•You are expected to respond to emails in a timely manner. We understand that things do come up and being able to respond right away is not possible. Just as we are busy, we know you are too. We do, however, expect to have an open line on communication.

•Responses to emails and proofs are required within 3 business days.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! 

•If you do not respond within 3 business days, this could delay in items not being printed/shipped by your needed date.  

•You are responsible for letting us know if your timeline changes.  We will do our best to accommodate. 

•If you are unable to complete the above, we reserve the right to cancel your order.
